LEICA shows new optical products and a new rangefinder at IWA

At IWA 2015 in Nuremberg from 6 to 9 March 2015, Leica will be presenting a whole range of new products for hunters and naturalists. The highlight of the show is a new member of the Magnus family, the 1.8–12 × 50 power zoom riflescope for universal hunting needs. In addition to the Geovid HD-R (Types 402 and 403) and the three Ultravid HD-Plus 50 models, visitors to the Leica stand at IWA can also take a closer look at the Extender 1.8× for spotting scopes, the digital adapter for the Leica X (Type 113) and the C-170 tripod with matching VH1 and VH2 video heads. You can find Leica at stand 1/336 in hall 1.

Geovid HD-R 42 - Ergonomics meet ballistics

The two new Leica Geovid HD-R 42 models (Types 402 and 403) feature a particularly easy-to-use ballistics programme. In addition to providing the target distance, it also displays an automatically compensated value for angle shots. The two Leica Geovid HD-R 42 models (Types 402 and 403) with eightfold and tenfold magnification are extremely light and compact and offer superior optical performance. Read more

Ultravid HD-Plus 50 - Optimum transmission

With the Leica Ultravid HD-Plus 50, Leica has designed and constructed a new generation of Leica Ultravid binoculars with considerably improved light transmission and resolving power. The Leica Ultravid HD-Plus 50 models are available with eightfold, tenfold and 12-fold magnification and are identified by an engraved ‘HD’ in red on the strap lugs of the binoculars. Read more

Universal power zoom riflescope - Magnus 1.8–12 × 50 for all hunting and shooting needs

The new Leica Magnus 1.8–12 × 50 fills the gap between the models with 42 and 56 mm front lenses. Thanks to the extreme zoom range and outstanding low-light performance, the new 50 mm version of the Magnum is ideal for hunting in less favourable lighting conditions and is simultaneously compact and extremely robust. A wide range of illuminated reticles is available to fulfil the needs of different hunting methods. The new riflescope is naturally also available in versions for both ring and rail mounting.
